Every year, the Mobile Marketing Association hands out a number of special industry awards at the Smarties Global Awards Gala during Advertising Week. The Smarties Industry Award honors companies that are trailblazers within the mobile space and highlights those that are innovating and disrupting the status quo within the landscape.
We’re proud to announce that Criteo is the 2015 recipient of the MMA Smarties Global Enabling Technology of the Year Award for its products and technology, and for how the business has added value to the mobile marketing industry through change, disruption and innovation.
The accolade is part of the Industry Awards category where MMA board members hand pick select winners. Those recognized in this category represent the best of the best in mobile marketing and have demonstrated an ability to have a direct impact in the growth of the industry.
With more than 8,500 clients and 11,000 publisher relationships globally, Criteo is a proven leader in performance marketing technology across desktop, laptop, tablet and smartphone devices. Through our cross-device, mobile app, and browser products, Criteo empowers retail, travel and other eCommerce companies to engage consumers and drive sales via personalized advertising.
I’m pleased to be recognized by the MMA for our work in mobile innovation. In looking at data and industry trends, the future is even more exciting. The Criteo Q3 State of Mobile Commerce report released this week finds that four in 10 transactions involve multiple devices. And, cross-device buyers are 20 percent more likely to complete a transaction on a smartphone than the average user. With the continued rise of smartphones and cross-device shopping, Criteo is at the forefront in ensuring our technology enables our clients to understand the consumer journey, delivering relevant marketing communications to today’s mobile savvy shopper.
