Et pourquoi un tel engouement \u00e0 l\u2019heure actuelle\u00a0?<\/p>\n<p>Criteo et Digiday ont entrepris de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces questions, et \u00e0 beaucoup d\u2019autres, dans leur nouveau guide\u00a0: <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Retail media\u00a0: mais qu\u2019est-ce que c\u2019est au juste\u00a0?\u00a0\u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Voici un aper\u00e7u des principales conclusions.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Qu\u2019est-ce que le retail media\u00a0?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>De mani\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, le retail media consiste \u00e0 diffuser des publicit\u00e9s sur les sites et les applications des retailers. Si ces annonces \u00e9manent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement des marques distribu\u00e9es par les retailers, ce n\u2019est pas toujours le cas. D\u2019autres marques dites \u00ab\u00a0non end\u00e9miques\u00a0\u00bb, sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es dans des secteurs verticaux tels que les services financiers ou les voyages, peuvent \u00e9galement y publier des annonces. Car ces marques s\u2019int\u00e9ressent avant tout aux audiences du retailer, sans pour autant vendre leurs produits sur les sites et les applications de ce dernier.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: deepskyblue; text-align: center;\"><strong>Les 2\/3 des recherches de produits en ligne commencent sur les sites des retailers<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Source\u00a0: Criteo Shopper Story, \u00c9tats-Unis, part des recherches commen\u00e7ant sur les sites web des retailers\/marques et les places de march\u00e9 en ligne, juillet-ao\u00fbt\u00a02019, N =\u00a01013.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce au\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.criteo.com\/fr\/products\/retail-media-for-brands\/\">retail media<\/a>, les marques gagnent en visibilit\u00e9 dans le \u00ab\u00a0rayon num\u00e9rique\u00a0\u00bb de ces points de vente, en diffusant des publicit\u00e9s natives et display. Un peu comme un panneau d\u2019affichage ou une t\u00eate de gondole, dans les all\u00e9es d\u2019un supermarch\u00e9. Le retail media est aliment\u00e9 par le commerce en ligne.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Or, les consommateurs sont de plus en plus nombreux \u00e0 d\u00e9serter les magasins physiques au profit du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.criteo.com\/fr\/blog\/explosion-de-le-commerce-le-retail-media-une-solution-desormais-incontournable\/\">commerce \u00e9lectronique<\/a>. Les marques veulent avoir la certitude d\u2019\u00eatre l\u00e0 au bon endroit et au bon moment, pour atteindre les shoppers ayant une forte intention d\u2019achat directement sur le point de vente, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire, les sites et les applications de leurs partenaires retailers.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"color: inherit; font-family: inherit; font-size: 1.25rem;\">2. Malgr\u00e9 la disparition \u00e0 venir des cookies, les consommateurs ont toujours envie d\u2019une publicit\u00e9 personnalis\u00e9e.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0La publicit\u00e9 personnalis\u00e9e n\u2019est pas en voie de disparition\u00a0\u00bb, pr\u00e9cise Loretta Jordan, Senior Product Marketing Manager du Retail Media chez Criteo. \u00ab\u00a0\u00c0 l\u2019avenir, elle reposera davantage sur des donn\u00e9es exploit\u00e9es dans un environnement first party. Or, les retailers poss\u00e8dent \u00e9norm\u00e9ment de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.criteo.com\/fr\/blog\/retail-media-les-donnees-first-party-parees-pour-la-publicite-de-demain\/\">donn\u00e9es first party<\/a>. Ils sont donc bien plac\u00e9s pour cibler les consommateurs et favoriser un suivi pr\u00e9cis des ventes, car ces derni\u00e8res se produisent sur leurs propres sites. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"color: inherit; font-family: inherit; font-size: 1.25rem;\">3. Le retail media permet de faire le lien entre d\u00e9penses m\u00e9dias et ventes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les capacit\u00e9s d\u2019attribution du retail media sont extr\u00eamement int\u00e9ressantes pour les marques, qui cherchent d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 aligner leurs d\u00e9penses publicitaires directement sur les ventes.\u00a0Les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.criteo.com\/fr\/products\/retail-media-for-retailers\/\">retailers<\/a> disposent d\u2019immenses volumes de donn\u00e9es commerciales.
