Happening on May 10 at Cedar Lake, a landmark building in Manhattan’s West Chelsea Historic District, the Criteo Commerce Marketing Forum brings together top brands, retailers, and agency executives to discuss the current state of retail and where it’s headed. There will be networking opportunities, leading industry speakers, and more.

We’ve hosted several Criteo Forums, and they’re always a hit. (Check out the highlights from the most recent one in London). For the Criteo Commerce Marketing Forum in New York, we’ve got the best-of-the-best on the agenda. Here’s what we’re really looking forward to:

1. Bonin Bough

Bonin Bough is one of the foremost-awarded marketing executives in his field, the host of The Cleveland Hustles, and the author of Txt Me (646) 759-1837. Throughout his career as one of the youngest C-suite executives in a Fortune 50 company, Mondelēz International, Bough spearheaded some of the industry’s largest global marketing campaigns across digital, mobile, television, print, and experiential, including the premier of the first ever 3D-printed food product, the customizable Oreo at South by Southwest.

At the Criteo Commerce Marketing Forum, Bough will discuss why, in today’s retail climate, collaboration is table stakes and disruptive innovation is one way brands can win.

2. Shelley Zalis, The Female Quotient

As disruptors within their own companies (aka “Intrapraneurs”), guests on this panel — including Gail Horwood, SVP Integrated Retail at Kellogg and Michelle Harmon-Madsen, SVP Brand Partnerships at FreshDirect — join Shelley Zalis, CEO of The Female Quotient, on stage to talk about how they’re inciting change across internal teams, from leadership to sales and operations.

3. John Constine, TechCrunch

A technology journalist who specializes in deep analysis of social products and currently an Editor-At-Large for TechCrunch, John Constine joins us to talk about the “State of the State” — how the industry is doing, which technologies are upending the way people shop today, what’s hot and what’s not.

4. Jonathan Margulies, Winterberry Group

The Managing Director at Winterberry, Jonathan Margulies will join a discussion with leaders from Best Buy, Intel, and LEGO, called “Building a Data Centric Org: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly”. We can’t wait to hear what the research says, and what businesses can do in the race to become more data-led.

5. Jonathan Opdyke, Criteo

At the London edition of the Criteo Commerce Marketing Forum in March, our Chief Strategy Officer Jon Opdyke spoke about AI, data, and the power of collaboration. Get ready for an awesome presentation filled with Terminators and the uncanny connection between modern technology and science fiction.

6. John Denny, CAVU Venture Partners

As the former VP Marketing of Media & eCommerce for Bai Brands, the creator of one of the fastest growing beverage brands in the US today, John Denny is no stranger to building brands. Over the course of four years, he grew Bai on Amazon from a small niche product to the number one beverage brand sold on the platform. Bai was later acquired by Dr Pepper Snapple Group in one of the largest CPG acquisitions of 2017.

Currently, Denny serves as VP of eCommerce & Digital Marketing at CAVU Venture Partners. He’ll talk to us about what every business can learn from startups.

7. Resolution Media and Catalyst

In a panel moderated by George Gallate, Principal at MKTG2.U, key players on the agency side join us to talk about the challenges and opportunities they face in today’s retail reality. Guests include Kris McDermott, Group Director at Resolution Media, and Kerry Curran, Managing Partner, Marketing Integration at Catalyst.

8. Chieh Huang, Boxed

CEO and Co-Founder of Boxed, a wholesale retailer that offers direct delivery, Chieh Huang will share the company’s background — how he identified an opportunity in CPG and grew the business — and what his team has done to maintain a positive trajectory in the midst of fierce competition.

9. Macy’s and Best Buy

Commerce marketing leaders come together on this panel to discuss collaboration and relationships in our current retail environment. The lineup will feature: Mike Chin, Group Vice President, Digital Media at Macy’s; and Anna Kruse, Senior Director at Best Buy.

10. Ken Hughes

Compared to the generations that came before, Gen Z and Millennials have a different value system. They demand things that are instant, frictionless, and seamless. Knowing who they are and what they want at every point of the customer journey, wherever and whenever that may be, is critical.]

Our final keynote speaker, Ken Hughes will discuss “The Golden Age of Retail”. A global thought leader on shopper psychology, consumer behavior, and omnichannel marketing, Hughes will unpack what shopper centricity really means and how the rise of the “blue dot consumer” has changed traditional notions about effective marketing.

11. Dinner at La Sirena

After a little mix-and-mingle with attendees over hors d’oeuvres and cocktails at Cedar Lake, we’ll be heading to a private dinner a few blocks away at La Sirena. Located on the Plaza Level of Chelsea’s storied Maritime Hotel, La Sirena offers a Michelin-starred menu in a fun yet elegant trattoria setting. We can’t wait for the sure-to-be-spectacular Italian dishes.
