10 Things We’re Excited to See at #DMEXCO18

The wait is almost over. DMEXCO, the annual conference where key decision makers in digital business, marketing and innovation meet, is only a few short days away.

And this year, it’s going to be better than ever.

We can’t wait to join the thousands of visitors, exhibitors, and speakers in Cologne, Germany from September 12th-13th looking to take their businesses into the future.

Here’s a sneak peek of what (and who) we’re looking forward to seeing at #DMEXCO18:

1. Our legendary RoofStop party

#DMEXCO18 wouldn’t be the same without our annual exclusive RoofStop party at Osman 30, where we’ll be ending Day 1 in style, complete with panoramic views of Cologne.

Come along for some drinks and nibbles while enjoying live music before we head off to one of the many afterparties. Want to attend? Request an invite here.

2. Criteo Exec Connect Dinner

We’ll be kicking things off in Cologne with our Exec Connect dinner at Bayleaf, known for its exquisite pairing menu and high-quality cocktails. Florian Heinemann, founding partner of Project A Ventures, will give a brief speech before joining the dinner and the conversations around why data-led organisations are the future.

3. Seminar with Alexander Gösswein

We look forward to seeing our own Alexander Gösswein, Criteo’s Regional Director for DACH, MEA & Russia, lead the seminar “Are Apps Worth Retailers’ Trouble?” where he will be joined by Shpock, MYBESTBRANDS, and AppsFlyer. The session will unpack the landscape of shopping apps and the advertising opportunities. Join us on Day 1 at 10am in Seminar 7 for an informative, lively discussion.

4. Criteo’s awesome booth

If you find yourself in Hall 8 why not give us a visit at booth A049 – B048! Come by to learn about our latest offerings and how they can help drive maximum performance. Want to meet with us? Book a meeting today!

5. Diversity Panel with The Female Quotient

We’re really looking forward to the “Diversity does not stop with gender” panel, featuring a star-studded group of successful female leaders in digital marketing. Moderator Shelley Zalis, CEO at The Female Quotient, will be joined by Alicia Hatch (Deloitte Digital), Saskia Steinacker (Bayer), and Criteo’s own Jennifer Whelan, our SVP Marketing, all of whom will discuss their own diversity journeys.

We can’t wait to chat with Shelley Zalis again, who we had the pleasure of joining in a panel at Shoptalk earlier this year where she sat with Criteo COO Mollie Spilman. Make your way to the Congress Stage at 6pm on Day 1 to learn about the importance of a strong diversity strategy for companies.

6. The Experience Stage

This is the place to be to feel the pulse of the digital world, to be inspired, and to gain a preview of the latest tech innovations that will be presented at DMEXCO this year. The three key topics for the Experience Stage are: Internet of Things, Blockchain, and Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality. We’re especially curious to see what’s happening on the VR/AR front!

7. Criteo custom Nikes

All Criteo representatives will be decked out in custom Criteo Nike trainers which are bound to create a buzz just like last year. Keep an eye out for these Criteo Nikes which may help you find the your way back to our booth…

8. Our Beet.TV series

Once again Beet.TV will be on location in Cologne to produce a video series featuring the brightest minds in the industry. This year we’ll be interviewing industry thought leaders to shed a light on “Advertising: Reimagined” which will cover consumer preferences, alternatives to walled gardens, AI-powered ads and more. Keep an eye on our social channels to view the final video series.

9. This year’s motto: Take C.A.R.E.

We’re a big fan of this year’s 4-pillar conference motto: Curiosity, Action, Responsibility, and Experience. Take C.A.R.E. encourages all visitors to make the most of the input and prepare their business for the future, while reinforcing speakers and exhibitors to provide the freshest content and invaluable insights.

10. The impact of AI

Already integral to most people’s lives, artificial intelligence will be a hot topic at #DMEXCO18. The opportunities to create better consumer experiences are endless. Indeed, the new Criteo AI Lab, which recently launched in Paris, is a testament to how much we believe in the potential of the technology. With an investment of $23 million (€20 million) over three years, the Criteo AI Lab is a sign of our commitment to driving innovation.
