To stay competitive in a market dominated by many players, Hepsiburada initially focused on app-only retargeting—a strategy that aligned with Türkiye’s mobile-first shopping behavior. While this approach delivered strong results, the company faced a critical question: How could it reach and convert customers beyond the app environment without compromising performance? With the peak shopping season approaching in November, Hepsiburada needed a solution that could scale conversions efficiently and deliver measurable impact.

Activating automation to maximize conversion value

Building on a successful partnership for app campaigns, Hepsiburada and Criteo launched a GO! Campaign designed to maximize conversion value and improve ROAS. GO! is Criteo’s AI-powered solution that automates campaign setup, delivery, and optimization—helping brands reach high-intent shoppers across the open internet with minimal manual effort.

The campaign went live as a trial weeks before the critical Black Friday period. Using dynamic product ads, GO! served personalized recommendations in display, native, and social formats, targeting users based on real-time browsing behavior and intent signals. This allowed Hepsiburada to engage shoppers who were most likely to convert. Initially, 75% of the budget remained dedicated to app retargeting, while 25% was allocated to GO!. What began as an experiment quickly evolved into an always-on strategy, proving the value of automation and diversification.

Results

Driving stronger performance across the funnel

The impact was immediate and aligned with Hepsiburada’s core objectives. Since the start of the campaign, the company achieved a 61% decrease in COS and a +100% increase in ROAS, demonstrating the effectiveness of fully automated GO! Campaign templates.
