In recent years, more time spent in nature and at home during the pandemic inspired a significant increase in pet ownership. The pet retail industry boomed with new opportunities for companies to meet the growing needs of more pet-loving consumers. As such, Petenkoiratarvike Fl wanted to launch new campaigns that would help customers become equipped with the products they need during their new lives as pet owners. By launching the new campaign activity, Petenkoiratarvike Fl wanted to ultimately retain and acquire more customers.
Petenkoiratarvike Fl called in Criteo to help launch a retargeting campaign that would re-engage shoppers throughout their path to purchase back to the Petenkoiratarvike site and drive conversions. In addition to the retargeting campaign, Criteo helped Petenkoiratarvike Fl launch two web traffic generation campaigns to bring new audiences to the company’s website. Using unique shopping intent data and AI technology, the campaign reached new prospective customers who were already actively considering pet products.
To strengthen the customer retention and acquisition efforts, Criteo leveraged a behavioral audience to target shoppers who showed a strong interest in pets, beyond just a short window of their recent purchases. Criteo’s machine learning builds the audience based on observed shopping intent behaviors that indicate a long-term, lasting interest. By targeting the “Pet Lovers” audience segment, Petenkoiratarvike Fl engaged customers with the highest propensity to visit their site and make a purchase based on their historical interests, shopping journeys, and purchasing behaviors.
As a direct result of working with Criteo, the new campaigns brought 5,000+ visitors to Petenkoiratarvike Fl’s site.
