How Dutch Retailer, HEMA, reached new audiences at scale
Established in 1946, Garanti Bankasi is Turkey’s second largest private bank with consolidated assets of nearly USD 84.3bn. Recognising the potential of app as a channel to engage clients and encourage them to use more products, Garanti looked for a partner that could help them drive app logins and in-app product applications for their key products (for instance credit account applications, tax payments and loan applications).
Garanti selected Criteo, a leader in app retargeting, to support their app strategy. Criteo’s Account Strategy team worked with Garanti to create an ideal user flow through their app. They then built a bespoke set of campaigns to segment and reach high-intent and low-intent app users with the right message to re-engage them and bring them back to login to their app account, complete their existing application, or apply for a new product.
Criteo’s predictive bidding technology accurately reached app users based on user-level behavior and an understanding of where they stand in the buying journey, delivering higher approval rates for applications compared to other app partners.
